Greenlizard0 Premier League Football Thread ** spoilers ** [27th - 29th September 2025]

I always come back to it, if Amorim was Graham Potter, there would be rioting in the stands.

We're all being fooled by his charisma - although that is fading a bit, IMO.

Mainoo caused that goal. Head up - takes a heavy touch, tries to recover it but turns the ball over and we are done.
Go to say I agree with you guys suggesting that the manager has had his chance. this was like Grimsby.
Fernandes pen misses have cost us twice and he has sulked since missing it - should have sent him Saudi.

I had patience in him and his project but jesus christ. Nothing has improved apart from the quality of the player pool over the summer. Good players, at least a top 6 team. He needs to go really. Back to the merry-go-round of managers I think.

What are the commenters saying? "Stunning strike etc"

It's right in the middle of the goals - keeper dives out the way of it... If he stands still he catches it easy.

Just dreadful again - Mainoo gives it away - no effort to get back, Keeper with a shocker....

Another clueless performance - Backed the manager to this point but not sure how much longer this can continue

United fans back their managers through thick and thin to be fair - at least the match going fans do anyway.

I think it’s more deep than just the manager, squad/team is just terrible. The management is terrible. Even the nonsense like sacking the team lady just adds to the whole vibe of the club being a miserable place to be.

I think the question for United should be, do you see yourselves getting 60 points this season? And if not, then Amorin needs to go.
60 points would have got you 9th last season

That's not always a good thing. At the end of the day he's just an employee and he's performed terribly with no sign of improvement.

This is partially true, but his job is to set the team up to win and he simply does not do that. He never has. It's poor.

Yep. His selections and subs (not even mentioning the formation) are just weird.
