I played il2 last night, god I suck at flying

iL2 could work, what version are we talking, its certainly a bit 'easier' to fly around and set things up, or at least was the last time I had a play around..

I've got Elite, but I'm probably a few DLC's out of date if thats still a thing, I bought the original and then the one that allowed you to drive around on planets, Horizons or something?

yeah horizons is all you need, i have the next one (odyssey) which only adds on foot stuff (not VR though)

im pretty limited on flight sims, and racing. but i really need to consider my set up
after pc upgrade wheel was next for trying racing.
for E.D. i have my trusty side winder force feed back, but space and set up.. it might weekend day only game

i still use an xbox controller in ED

I've still got my old Saitek Cyborg 3D Gold from, a long time ago...
I tried other sticks but really do like the twist rudder stuff, which is the only thing that stopped me buying some WinWing stuff as their twist rudder has been out of stock for a long time...

I've got HOTAS for DCS, thats got twisty...

Yeah I'm not bored of it by any means, more a social than a serious thing for me so I don't really care what we play..
