Every game is a basketball score. I know they've gone down the arcade route, but this is a tad silly.

I've never had such a rubbish start to a FIFA launch, hoping it gets easier on the main release tomorrow.

Yeah I keep telling myself it’s the hardcore playing it right now so it will get a little easier lol because I simply can’t win online

Normally I play the previous version until the new comes out, but this year I uninstalled FC25 in May/June.

Having the same problem, I'm trying to tweak the team and formation to lock down the defence but it's not worked so far!

Feels like I'm defending 2v4 all the time...

I have sussed it out more, or adapted, still high scoring games but I’m at the better end of the scores! Up to the dizzy heights of div 6 now

I've played fifa/eafc for years now but ive never been one for learning skill moves, if you had to suggest a few things you should definitely learn, ie skills moved etc.

What would they be?

Tempted to get this but not sure if it is too "serious" for me. I just want a simple arcady football game.

Definitely a game I needed to adapt to. Getting there now but had to use different camera angle. Managed to win the early access elimination cup 3rd run that was very sweaty.

4411(2) seems to be my go to for now and not using the defenders to close down at all keep chasing down/running back with the CMs.

Explosive step over
Flare Nutmeg
Ball Roll and flick (clicking in right analog stick)

Can be useful additions to your game without being too complicated to do any of them, can get used to doing all of them pretty quickly.

I also mostly avoid skill moves, but sometimes are needed now, if you're too predictable in build up.

Might be the first year in about 10 years running when I don't buy it. Looks very similar to 25 to me and plays almost the same.

Does EA release how much they make from in game purchases on FCs? It would be interesting to see just how much they do because so quickly teams are filled with players that cost a bomb whilst I'm plugging away trying to me a few bob.

I have been playing the PS4 version for the past two years, despite owning a PS5 (FC24 and 25) as I felt it played way much better than the next gen version. Since FC26 came out, the greatest compliment I can give is that I'm now playing the PS5 version, which is way faster, more responsive, and just less awkward to play. Yeah, it looks the same, but I don't agree that it plays almost the same.
