Liverpool are far too lethargic, with all the signings I was really expecting more from this season. I know it will take time to bed the new players in, but really didn’t expect them to be this disjointed.

I worry, and have throughout, that Slot has bought market opportunity without real thought to it. We've lost a lot of creativity with Trent going. Wirtz was meant to replace that, but I'm hugely sceptical about playing genuine 10s in the modern game - I just don't think it works, and I think that's a big part of why our balance has looked off this season. And if we take him off, we end up with the same midfield as last season, who are all great but aren't massive creators. Similarly, I didn't love the Isak signing at the time, and still don't. We didn't need to go nuts and bring in two expensive 9s and a 10, we needed to flesh out our midfield with some more dynamic options. Eze, at half the price of Wirtz, would have been a far better signing.

I hope it gels, but at the moment I think our transfer policy has gone all Man Utd. Big names, big money, but not enough thought.

Sorry, why booked for diving? The tops of modern football boots are basically the thinnest material known to man, and he's kicked the bottom of someone's studs hard. It's going to hurt, and he's entitled to go down.

Isak maybe due to lack of preseason but so far Hugo is better of the two for us by far

Oh come off it, he's trying to buy the decision. There's no way he doesn't know that he's the one who's volleyed the players foot. He's putting in an Oscar level performance when rolling around on the ground. He's tried to cheat the ref.
