Hey guys.

I just bought an NZXT C1500 from an online retailer here in Ireland, but I never even realized that it will come with an EU plug on the AC power cord.

It should be easy enough to replace it with a UK version, but does anyone know which cable I need to get?

Does this PSU use a C13 connector or a C19 connector?

Is the fuse a 13 Amp or 15 Amp?

Obviously I want to be certain I get the exact correct cord so as not to melt a few cables/components or even set the bloody gaff on fire!

Any advice much appreciated.

1500W would be C19 due to the max current rating limitations of C13. I suspect a 13 Amp fuse would be fine but a lot of the C19 cables come with 16 Amp.

Good quality C19 power cables can be found fairly cheaply from the usual places. Just get a decent brand and you should be fine. A mains power cable is hard to mess up and its unlikely to cause any issues.

Beyond that the easiest solution might be to contact NZXT. They have been good to me over the years and have shipped parts for free when I asked nicely. Just explain the situation and they should be able to help.

looks like a C19 connector...but obvs check the review sample has the same connector on yours as you've not posted a pic of your specimen
a 13A fuse will be fine (13A x 230V = 2990W)

Yep I think you're right, it's a C19 connector. I've emailed NZXT and explained the situation and asked them nicely to advise on the exact replacement I need and where to get it. Hopefully they'll be sound and look after me!

Thanks man, will do. The PSU should arrive tomorrow or Friday so I will double check the connector type & shape and make sure I get the right replacement.
