*** The Official Nintendo Switch 2 ***

So I’ve been away this week and my Switch 2 has had its first outing without the dock. To test the charge I fully charged it and took the charger off at 5pm yesterday and at 7:20am this morning checked the charge and it is on 95%. This is in standby/rest mode not off. Not bad after more than 14 hours.

It marks the Peach coins you've collected, and the P-Switches you've done or at least driven over, but not where the rest are.

It at least gives you an idea of where others might be, by seeing the gaps on the map where you haven't found as much.

Head's up on a good deal/annoying ommission however way you look at it.

Street Fighter 6 only £17.99 on sale on estore, amazing deal for a very good full on Switch 2 game.

However, while the physical version is the Fighters Edition rrp £59, but Argos have at £40 that includes 2 DLCs, the £17.99 digital version is the base SF6 without any DLCs that isn't even available physically.

So I initially thought it was the Fighters Edition I was getting, but not that bothered, the 2 DLCs only have 8 fighters (only like 3 of them at all) and 4 stages. The base game has many of my favourites and is still excellent, the story mode is great. I'll just keep the standard for Switch and get the full version on Steam on sale down the line.

Fighters edition is still 50 digitally so the 17.99 base version is still a good deal overall.

Thinking of getting the Super Mario Galaxy bundle as I've never played them before.

Played the first one as part of the Mario All Stars bundle and its an excellent game. I just don't want to encourage Nintendos ***** pricing on 20 year old content so I won't be buying this.

Thankfully it seems to be a bit better priced than when it was first revealed. I love Mario Galaxy/Galaxy 2 and they are top contenders for my favourite game of all time but Nintendo have went about it in a very strange way. They originally price it like a Switch 2 game and from videos its seems they have put a bit of effort into this release but where does that leave us that bought 3D all stars, we already have Galaxy 1

A 3D All-Stars 2 with Galaxy 2, 3D land and 64 DS might have been a lot better for all.

Does anyone know if the Galaxy 1 that came in the 3D All Stars release is also getting the Switch 2 upgrade, or have they done some software ID shenanigans?

I've not got around to playing it yet, and haven't ever played it, so am weighing up my options.

I was wondering the same too. No point me buying it again if I have Galaxy 1 already on the Switch.

It doesn't look like All Stars 3D Galaxy will get an update.

The All Stars version is the Wii version emulated in 1080p with mods, while the new releases are native ports with some texture improvements, higher resolution (4k for Switch 2), an assist mode etc.

Nice to have confirmation of the changes. The physical is both games right? I might pick that up in the future when the new releases slow down a bit.
