5800x bottleneck for 5070 ti

The amount of bloat in windows is getting silly. You can also turn off the windows 11 spyware aswell.
Unreal amount of bloat, I would recommend checking out Chris Titus youtube channel. Him and some devs have built a w11 ISO that removes all the crap and keeps it super clean. Great youtuber when it comes to this sort of thing

I'm all for reducing bloat, Spyware, Non-essential running applications!
I'll check out that Youtube channel and perhaps do a fresh install seeing as it has minimal items installed already.

Did one recently and its a whole world better, also adds in extra useful little tweaks that are a part of windows but hidden away behind registry and settings etc

I take it it's the Windows Toolbox for $10 that you use? May purchase that.

OP, Are you going to wait for full release then try some fault finding, If you do, Post back and we can see what we can improve on.

No not that, its free the ISO one I used. Its one of his recent videos made within the last 4-5 months or so I think

Put of curisity, I was doing some shopping (can't afford any of it) do these parts work well? Or did I choose all the expensive stuff?

Yeah thanks, I think DLSS is going to help a lot at least. Also out curiosity, I was putting together parts. Is this a decent list? Or how cheap can I go without losing much performance. I have MSI mobo now, thought I'd pick again because I know my way around the bios etc.

sorry for dodgy link, they blocked imgur in the UK LMAO.
Almost as good as the Noctua cooler but a lot cheaper :D

I've been thinking, would it even be worth going for the budget friendly upgrade to AM5. Would it resolve my bottleneck problems? Such as the AMD Ryzen 5 9600X and perhaps ASUS Prime B650-Plus? Will I be able to run the 5070 ti without problems with this low budget AM5?

BF6 comes out in 6 days, I'm hoping everything is fine with the 5800x but I have a feeling it won't due to the games I'm playing now and the CPU usage I'm getting.

If you were to go down that route, I would suggest getting a board that will happily take a 9800X3D for upgrades down the line.
I may be wrong here so someone please correct me if I am but I believe a 7700X is pretty much on par with a 5800X3D for gaming. Or it was the 7600X I can't recall.

Personally, I wouldn't bother with a half-upgrade to AM5, I'd only do it for the 7800X3D or 9800X3D, or even better the 10800X3D which is believed to have 12 cores.

Watch this and skip to the 1440p testing

Given there's next to no difference between a 5700X and a 5700X3D at 1440p and a 5700X3D is essentially within 5% of a 5800X3D.....Is it really worth upgrading to AM5, spending £600+ for the sake of roughly 15-20fps at 1440p?

Yeah not worth it will run fine on the 5800X

Yeah maybe you are right. I just had weird experiences so far with the games I have installed. Seeing 80-90% cpu usage and 40% gpu usage in battlefield v just feels weird.

40% GPU usage doesn't sound right, on a graphically demanding game like BF I'd expect even the best of cards to be running at 80%+ usage when playing.

Driver issue?

After seeing a lot of complaints in the Nvidia subreddit, I would consider a driver issue too. Especially with Nvidias recent shenanigans!
