Maybe, but I can replace this screen protector for free, versus paying apple £389.Isn’t the Ceramic Shield 2 more scratch resistant than a screen protector?
Good point, a screen protector is case-by-case, some can get away without one.Maybe, but I can replace this screen protector for free, versus paying apple £389.
I work in fields a lot and sometimes not the nicest of environments, so worth it to me. First time I'm using one in circa 10 years, my 13PM got a bit beaten up by scratches just from being in my pocket alone.
Absolutely!Good point, a screen protector is case-by-case, some can get away without one.
Don't you have to buy a new screen protector, so it wouldn't really be free? Also it's not £389 with AC+, it's £25 which is less than you pay for a replacement screen protector and you get the additional benefits AC+ offers on top.Maybe, but I can replace this screen protector for free, versus paying apple £389.
What screen protectors do you get at upwards of £25?Don't you have to buy a new screen protector, so it wouldn't really be free? Also it's not £389 with AC+, it's £25 which is less than you pay for a replacement screen protector and you get the additional benefits AC+ offers on top.
I just followed that posters link. I don't use them, can't stand the bloody things. What screen protectors do you get at upwards of £25?I just get the £6.99 ones from amazon and they’re flawless every time!
It has lifetime warranty so free replacements, AC+ is £11.99 a month + £25 excess anyhow so ends up being almost the cost of a screen replacement over 2 years anyhow.Don't you have to buy a new screen protector, so it wouldn't really be free? The standard AC+ policy does not include theft protection. But then travel insurance does not cover everything else AC+ does, such as accidental damage (not just limited to the screen). They also tend to just give you refurb units via the advanced exchange option so you end up with a new phone in case you have any issues. You're essentially covered for much more than just the screen.Admittedly I've never lost a phone or whatever else but covered for theft on travel insurance etc!
Oh I see, my bad - I thought it was Apple Care and then AC+ was the extra bits for loss/theft.The standard AC+ policy does not include theft protection. Opposite for me. I’m waiting on my black 17 to replace my white 15PM. It should have been available for collection at Argos today but storm Amy looks to have put paid to that so fingers crossed for Monday.Pick up a base 17 in white later. Wasn’t planning to swap my 15 Pro but a few things swayed me.
- iOS 26 doesn’t run buttery smooth on the 15 Pro.
- I run my phone case less and prefer a white phone, my 15 Pro is black.
- Battery life is tanking on iOS 26. Regularly dying in a day at home. Wouldn’t last a day out in London.
- 17 is bigger but weighs less.
- 256gb.
only ever bought the Pro phones because the 120hz display
The standard iPhones also have better colours.Ditto. I prefer the lighter, less flashy base models.
