I've seen The Bourne Identity several hundred times. I've got it on physical media 4 or 5 times due to the 'explosive extras' and new formats. I've got a signed copy of the script. I've got framed stills from the 35mm print. I've got an 8ft tall promotional movie poster.

It's an illness.

The Warriors.

It's probably the only film I've watched on consecutive nights, multiple times too. I love the grimy 1970s New York aesthetic. The extended intro with the Coney Island ferris wheel blurring into view, menacing synth music, the snippets of dialogue and train scenes is superb, and always gives me a sense of anticipation.

And to @BillHicksRIP's point above, the Bourne Identity (Supremacy and Ultimatum too).

I could barely make it through 2001 once, let alone multiple times. Horses for courses, I guess. People must see something in it that I’m just not getting.

Critics did that when it first came out too - walked out of the showings not having a clue what was going on.

After a lot of reading and rewatching it makes more sense, and the future predictions it made (video calling on tablets, AI going rogue, rotating space stations and lunar transfers etc) in a film made before we actually landed on the Moon make it a fascinating watch.

The sequel was a lot more of a normal film!
