I think there is going to be a lot of speculation around Glasner from now on. I'm not surprised to see reports of Glasner rejecting a contract extension reported as untrue. I wouldn't put money on him extending his contract but I do think there is a real chance of us keeping beyond the end of this season. Fingers crossed we can get him tied down.

Europe's Top Biggest Clubs.

Currently, Palace are one of Europe's Top Clubs, given our unbeaten run and who we've overcome to win trophies.

Long may it last. I fear it won't. I'm not sure how aligned to ambition Parish et al are. Judging by the quiet transfer window and lack of squad depth...

The naive part of me thinks that Glasner, Guehi, Wharton (the whole squad for that matter) will all stick around to achieve great things, but they'll likely chase the money.

Unfortunately they will likely all be gone next summer. Top managers are always in demand and the only thing that will keep Glasner there is if a richer club doesn't come knocking. That might not happen due to the way Palace play which honestly is not how the biggest clubs expect to play despite how effective it can be.

Guehi will be gone in the summer or perhaps January depending on how desperate Liverpool are.

Not sure about Whartons contract but he will be in high demand and the owners have shown that they care about money more than the future success of the club.

I think it's unfair on anyone to claim they're chasing money if they move on. The ceiling at a club like Palace is always lower than more established "big" clubs and as well as Palace have been doing recently it'd be crazy to suggest they're not overreaching.

I'm sure if someone like Liverpool or Barcelona came in offering the same wages at Palace to remove the money argument, it's still a no brainer

Other than money, it's then just about pedigree, isn't it? The draw of playing for a big club, increased chances of success etc.

Most players want European football, and trophies... I think Palace can offer those, but not the money.

And then there's longevity, Leicester were flying high and look at them now.

I think Guehi is 100% gone by the end of the season. It is just a question of whether he goes in Jan or at the end of the season. My gut says it will be at the end of the season and he will join Real Madrid. I just think Liverpool missed their chance to sign him. He can sign a pre contract in Jan with European clubs.

Glasner I think is probably 30-40% likely to sign a new contract.

Wharton on the other hand is different. He is still only 21 and seems very level headed. I can see him signing a new contract but with a release fee in it. I think we will manage to keep him for next season as well.
