Imgur has blocked the UK

All this excitement over an image host.

So what are parents supposed to parent. Don't use this program little Jimmy they will sell your data to the bogeyman.

Governments govern and some things get bent out of shape but in the broad scheme of things it is no big deal.

It's not just the image host though. It's the start of the fallout from their poorly considered, badly planned, awfully implemented new internet policing.

It is a private company's decision not to trade.

Many don't trade with your current location for one reason or another.

At some point it will affect something you do care about, so maybe then you will understand.

Whats the current best public alternative to imgur, specifically for embedding images on these forums (apart from imgbb) ?

As much as what you say has some truth, it's also not just "an image host". For starters it's the best image host, but it's also an image platform that doesn't have an algorithm. One of the few places left, if not the only I can think of, where the content is not fed by some system designed to get you to spend as much time on it as possible.

There have been quite a few mentioned over the past 20 pages or so.

Postimages is another popular one - I think some people on our forum have been using this. https://postimages.org/

A more recent one that was mentioned was S3ND.PICS - https://s3nd.pics/. No idea what the experience is like with this one.

Both postimages and imgbb have had their own issues though, as mentioned by @Feek, like Postimages embedded images turning into placeholders, unless you have a paid subscription (see https://forums.overclockers.co.uk/t...pple-hardware.17775900/page-131#post-37477339 for an example). Not sure if anything similar happens with s3nd pics, but I wouldn't be surprised if it does.

I only came here to get the free delivery from OCUK as well!
HOW DARE YOU!!!!111 Funny you should say that as I made this account because OcUK was giving away a free game with a hardware purchase and my mate got the game and I did not when I spent way more than he did. It was ok in the end as before I got mad about it the game had no copy protection on it. ;)
