Sold 5090 On eBay - Buyer says its faulty

Yeah a decent amount
It's a 5090 after all and not many for sale
On ebay

If you want to figure out how much
Use filter on ebay
And set it for completed 5090 sales
And check the relevant time frame
Which presumably would be not long before the
OP posted about it in here

That shows only a couple of possible 5090
As being the OPs gpu

My friend, the last thing that you need to do is explain yourself or apologise - from what I've seen in countless posts, you are one of the most polite and welcoming people on here, very humble, easy going, and helpful!

FWIW, it's very obvious to anyone with half a brain cell, that you are structuring your words for a reason, so it's rather ignorant IMHO, for people to not pick up on that, let alone question it.
You word things better than most of us, and we don't have Dyslexia, so that pretty much sums up the type of **** wit, that would bully someone for their typing, doesn't it!

More people should behave how you do on here, then it'd be a nicer place, but unfortunately there really is some dire cretins that lurk, who only take pleasure in being a fake bully, because it gives them some sad thrill - I guess their lives must be really lacking in reality :cry:

If someone has the cheek to be rude or insult you, they can rightly, **** off!
Don't even sweat it, they're not even worth your time :) You are better than them, and we all know it ;)

Either way, I'm sure that I'm not the only person, that thinks you come across as one of the most humble and genuine people on here, who's always whiling to help literally everyone! So thanks for being you :)

Where the Hell is he? I want, no I NEED, an update. Is the 5090 stripped of its RAM and GPU back yet? Has the PSU been removed or reattached (no idea what that's supposed to mean) yet. Someone find his address, go knock on his door and tell him we need answers!

No I know he didn't, I was just speaking in general - as you mentioned people in the past being rude to you. So there's no bad blood with me and @ColdAsIce (sorry if it came across directed at you, it wasn't - I was just speaking aloud)

I wonder if there is any defence against this parts harvesting scum tactic talked about by some in this thread.
Could you prove parts were stolen by making a video weighing the card on a scale capable of high accuracy.
Then when it returns make another video weighing it to prove that it is 150 grams or whatever lighter than what you sent.
 
I have always used ebay to sell my GPUS. just make sure those buying the thing have a good rating otherwise boot them. Take no notice of those saying use cex. You may aswell give it away as they will give you bottom dollar. Not everyone is bad on ebay. I sold my 4090 and was worried sick but the money popped in the next day no issue. I always use the Paypal protection if there an issue rather than ebay when buying. As for selling examine whose bidding and more importantly who bought the thing. if you have a suspicions pull it
 
I've never had an issue with Ebay and have sold many GPU's there. Prices of late have usually been way above CEX. Maybe I've been lucky. I do check the feedback but as a seller I know I'm vulnerable.

His phone/PC have probably thermal throttled and exploded due to the mass influx of notifications :cry: I bet his battery on his phone got rinsed today! :P
