Yes I believe so, speedway run was 14 320 which is normal for stock 5090 + 9800X3D
I just don't understand why TDP is lower in games vs stock cooler

I never checked my power draw with the stock cooler but mine also seems to pull what seems to me low wattage in games under water. Performance is right though and draws more in benchmarks.

Less resistance at lower temps so less power used. Glad it’s all resolved now.

Good reason to watercool these then to combat the potential of having any issues with the cable.

It’s normally 20-30W so it wont really resolve the melting cable issue.
