Hi all. I am in the market for a pc build that I can use to create 4kHD fractal music videos. I will be using MB3D software and I just want to figure out a decent enough setup that can handle a heavy cpu workload. I do play games too, but I am not too fussed with a high end graphics card. Any fellow video graphics creators here that could give me a few pointers please?

I would presume your software of choice lists minimum and recommend specs? Start there and see where you budget takes you. You can never have enough RAM for video creation. CPU speed and cores, or whether you go GPU instead, all depends on how the software works.
