Greenlizard0 Premier League Football Thread ** spoilers ** [3rd - 5th October 2025]

Not as good second half, some poor decision making and a poor performance from the subs. For all the hate Dalot gets we just stopped attacking down that side when Dorgu came on.

Rare clean sheet and a win. Being allergic to back to back results means it will be 5-0 to Liverpool next match.

We need to get some wing backs in January. What we have just isn't good enough.

We need to make bloody sure that we are keeping Amorim for the long term because we have already changed the squad a fair bit to suit him. Going all in on a manager who hasn't shown any signs of repaying that is...brave.

I think we will know by then!
Liverpool is the next game -
Is Sesko already looking better than Hojulund-25-in-Farmers-League?
I was impressed by him. We still aren't creating for a striker but his presence was definitely a problem for Sunderland. Took his goal well. Overall happy with what we saw from him.
We need about £500m if we want to win the league in 2028
I don't see it like that. We do however need replacements for a lot of players. They really need to develop some more of the youth. If we end the season with Casemiro having played more than 25 games it will be a travesty.

And his efforts resulted in a penalty in the last match.

Its a better start so far, but passing is still off and yet another corner that results in nothing. I also dont want to see Isak drifting to the sides, I want him to stay in the box, I see him as a finisher, not a ball playing forward. A Rush if you like, not a Barnes.
