What TV shows are you currently watching

Just finished Black Rabbit on Netflix. I thought it was excellent, episode 7 was a particularly stand out. The directing was off the charts good at times, especially for a TV show.

Just finished Season 1 of The Blacklist. Some cringy FBI incompetance aside, its been brilliant. James Spader is exceptional, the actress who plays Liz Keen not so much but its got us gripped.
 
The Newsdesk 8/10 Excellent Australian drama set in a 1980s newsroom. Great characters with depth to the storyline. Looking forward to the other two seasons.

We watched an episode of that. I think I enjoyed it more than the wife. Might watch the rest without her.

We watched an episode of House of Guinness tonight. It seemed a bit over the top. Anyone watched any more? Care to tell me if it gets any better?
 
I finished 24 two nights ago and I just loved it.

Finally see Kiefer as Jack Bauer rather than all the bad boys he played earlier.

I watched the film redemption which confused me at first as I thought it would be a follow on from the last season.

It was still decent but I missed Chloe who grew on me and the usual CTU aspects.

I actually really want to watch it all again coz I will enjoy it even more when I'm less stressed and on the edge of my seat!

So settled for The Rise of the Nazi's and making my way through the dictators fight episodes between Hitler and Stalin.
Very fascinating and scary.

Best show ever made IMO, watched it all 3 times, might have to go for a 4th as it's just that good. Bauer is the OG.

To keep on topic... currently watching 'The Terminal List' on Prime and really like it, perfect show to watch after finishing Reacher as it has similar vibes.
 
Blue Lights S3 8/10
Belfast based police drama. Dipped in the middle but came back in the last two series. Too heavy and down in parts with too much going on for each character but if you like Line of Duty then I think you will enjoy it.
 
Finished the first season of the White Lotus last night. Strangely engrossing considering it feels like not a great deal happened in each episode. I did find myself enjoying it throughout though and the end satisfied.

I never watched Prison Break however SoA I did. If you like Charlie Hunans poor acting and over the top storey lines go for it. It goes down hill fast after one of the plots fairly early on which I won’t spoil. 7 season as well jeez no need.

Saying all that it’s better than a lot of the trash nowadays so try the first season.

24 & The Wire. I’ve not watched either of those but plenty of people rave about both I’ve never seen people rave about SoA.

Mad Men is superb.

I watched one season of Prison Break and that was enough for me. It was pretty stupid back then, and I gather it only got stupider. It’s not in the same league as 24 and certainly not The Wire.

My brother loved Sons of Anarchy, but I’ve not watched it.

I watched maybe 2 seasons of Mad Men and then it got taken off whichever service I was watching it on. It was good - I keep meaning to go back to it.

As said, Prison Break stands up for around one season at most. For me it was after about 8 episodes I was ready to quit, but my wife was enjoying it so we ended up watching four seasons. We skipped the 5th season, I couldn't take anymore
 
Rewatching Stargate SG-1 for the millionth time.

There is just no decent Sci-Fi on at the moment that scratches my itch (Foundation being the exception)

Star Trek SNW this season was too silly and I’ve not finished it and there is little else!
