I managed to fix the calibration of my X52. There's a mismatch between the raw input values and the directX calibrated values. No idea why. But I found a program called DIView on a sim racing forum that allowed me to recalibrate manually, and it's all working now. So I'm back in action for Elite and flight sims.

Funnily enough I dug out my old Cyborg out to see if a different stick worked, and that worked perfectly in Elite.

I can't even remember how long I've had it for, its been a flipping long time I know that much, I had an old x45 I think it was as a replacement, but thats long gone as well, had finger rudders on the throttle, where I really do prefer twist rudder on the stick, its gotta be over 20 years old...

Its been that long since I fired ED up, I was playing solo then though as the number of people just ganging up on you was annoying regardless of what you were trying to do...
Deffo up for a more social crowd tho..
