*** The Official AirPods {all gens} (and AirPods Pro [all gens]) thread ***

Ordered mine after trading the pro 2 in at CEX. After watching some reviews on the poorer sound quality I was not going to bother but I never listen to music on them anyway, only podcasts and books. The feature I most wanted was the fitness/heart tracking so I can go back to a garmin from my apple watch.
The sound quality is the same if not better than the Pro 2s as far as I can tell. Not sure about the reviews you have been watching.

I can finally ditch the my last lightning device too, which is a small bonus. (I did prefer lightning but what can you do, had to join the other side)

First day of use, not great tbh. Noise cancelling doesn't seem any better than the old ones and the fit for me is definitely worse. Using the stem is better as they stand off from my ears a bit better but that will make them worse if you sleep with them. Not the end of the world as the batteries in my old ones were shredded anyway and after trade in a battery replacement just isn't worth the difference. Sound definitely has more base which I hope they can tweak out. I'm sure I will get used to them and it's nice to have day one battery life again.

Just bought some Samsung Galaxy Buds 3 Pro as my main phone is an S25, but they also work on my iPhone although there’s no app to configure them. They work on both that’s the main thing, all my music is on my S25.

How are people finding pro 3's after awhile? Im a pro one user and the reviews for 3 seemed super positive top start but now im seeing opposite?

Haven’t had a chance to use mine yet. In other news 8A358 firmware has been released, not sure whether this will have a bearing on audio quality.

I’m finding a weird thud noise when i’m out running. It’s not all the time but it can be for 20-30 second spells. Don’t know if it’s a setting or the way my jaw is moving with the bounce.

Found a use for my old Samsung Galaxy Buds+, have them paired with my iPhone...
