Sim racers - what are you running?

Thanks everyone. Finally got out of the rookie league and rather enjoying the jump on and off aspect of iracing.

Think I’ll get the black two pedal set ordered in the coming weeks.
Also toying with the idea of diy bass shakers and wind simulator for a bit of a laugh.

I have four of the little dayton pucks (the 8ohm ones) wired into a nobsound amp. They are all under my seat for left and right effects. Really pleased with them, but I wouldn't recommend them for the pedals.

Regarding wind, I had a setup controlled through a raspberry pi and it was crap. You'd be much better off just getting one of those cheap mini usb fans from Amazon. This is mine https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B0D2Q7MVJY?ref_=ppx_hzsearch_conn_dt_b_fed_asin_title_3&th=1

I have a arduino controlling mine and it works as I would expect it to. I think to really simulate wind you would have to have some crazy CFM fans though, i bought some old Delta 120mm server fans, they push decent air but not 150mph air :p

actually thinking back, I think mine was pretty similar if not the exact same solution (arduino and deltas). Not for me

I currently have a Thrustmaster T150 with Thrustmaster LCM pedals mounted to a Playseat Challenge. The setup doesn't play very well with Le Mans Ultimate as the force feedback keeps disabling itself. I'm considering upgrading to a Moza R3 but not sure if it'll be enough of an upgrade.

i have the T300 and the 150 is the lower one iirc, so anything "direct drive" would be a massive upgrade

I went from a Logitech G923 (gear driven) to the Logitech G Pro (11nm direct drive) and it was a big upgrade. Personally if upgrading go as high as you can comfortably afford, you can always turn the force feedback down in-game if the torque is too high.

Keep an eye on the high street exchange place, they get some fanatec, logitech and Moza stuff come through. I've had my GT DD Pro and now a Podium F1 bundle from them and whilst clearly used they are in good condition and include a 5 year warranty. The podium came with the blue playstation F1 wheel with with podium paddle kit and cost my under 450 which for a 20nm DD base and wheel was nuts.

bass shakers arrived so hoping to get that mounted and setup at the weekend.
Just waiting on the simsonn plus x to arrive.
Already looking at upgrading the t300 to a DD despite only getting to race one a night
