Worth upgrading 3070ti Laptop to 4070

I've currently got a 15.6" Legion 6800H/3070Ti laptop and have been offered a Legion Pro 7745HX/4070 laptop. Would likely need to throw £200 at it if I sell my one. They are looking for £900 but could likely knock them down a little.

Worth the upgrade or more of a side step in reality?

Games I play are generally all FPS so I guess MFG isn't really required.

Thanks for that, I think I recall watching this a good while back so a good reminder really. Likely not worth the change at all then.

Been helping a friend choose a new laptop for work and gaming and most of them seem pretty underwhelming the RTX 5070 laptop GPU isn't much of an upgrade over the 4070 either and still limited to 8gb of VRAM...

It was just a spur of the moment though for myself really. Probably not worth the uplift as I think I got my one second hand fairly cheap. Will test it out with BF6 tomorrow and see how it plays.
