Just bought the ASUS prime versio for £588, would have gone for this but is too long for my case!
Performance wise its about the same surely?

More or less. I find my xfx the efficiency drops off a cliff after 300 watts. So if you’re not chasing benchmarks it will do a great job.

Even if it was £20 cheaper you still run a risk of being a victim of ye olde gpu switcharoo, or receiving a previously returned product. I'd avoid amazon for pc stuff in general.

Yeah the trouble he had sorting that mess out was a saga in itself.
Does no one watch HWUB on the tube? The pulse came bottom of the pile in terms of performance and temps the Nitro was consistently better card. But like I say the pulse still ain't a bad card I really liked mine. But I only bought it until I could get my hands on the Nitro. I've had a Nitro 6800XT and 7800XT in past they are just good good cards. But no it's not a huge difference but it's there. So no regrets from me.

Wait, you went from a 6800 XT to a 7800 XT, then one variant of Sapphire 9070 XT to another? What'll be the next step? Are you chasing smaller and smaller upgrades?
No actually I went from 7800XT to 4090. It's my money you know.
And the 7800XT was all I could afford or get my hands on at the time because the 6800XT wasn't cutting it at 5120x1440p the 7800XT was actually much better at that res.
Then I sold the 4090 because I didn't need the performance it gave and bought the pulse. Now sold and nabbed a Nitro. Hope that helps.
