Isnt pickled onion sauce just pickle vinegar? Or you mean blended up pickled onions ?

Come to Edinburgh they have ‘sauce’ which is like **** weak brown sauce with 90% vinegar. Locals seem to love it. I accidentally got ‘salt and sauce’ the other day.

Yes ! They’re not as good anymore. In fact I think they’ve taken a lot of seasoning out of the pickled onion, as they’re not mouth destroying anymore.

Hell yes ! Mayo and pickled onion would go so well over cheese+chips ! Or anything actually.
