Take Kane's goals out of there and there are a lot of small numbers in that column. Only 4 of them have scored more times than John Stones.

Maybe then you’ll get a bit of an atmosphere, then again as mentioned above it’s a expensive pointless friendly on a school night.

It's not really, it's mostly an English fan thing. Other nations care a lot more about international football

Proper fixtures maybe, but similar to England not sure many care about friendlies. I've seen next to nothing about the Spain games in any media here.

I lost all enthusiasm for these fixtures back in 2016. Before then I watched every England game competitive or not, religiously.

England qualified for Euro 2016 with 10 wins from 10 games. Hopes were high, even though you shouldn’t use the qualifiers as a barometer. We then scraped through the group stages and got knocked out by Iceland. They were terrible,

I’ve never watched them outside of a tournament since.
