They seem to have added a lot more games to Luna that I either didnt see earlier or they werent there before like Alien Isolation, Skyrim V, Evil within 2 etc.
Yep, Prime gaming on its own is worth the sub these days. Not only do they have some big playable titles on Luna but they give away free games every week. That and free delivery are pretty much the only two things I use it for and I don't begrudge paying £95 a year for that.
I actually like it for the occasional obscure game that I'd never actually hear about and buy but end up giving a shot because it's free/ish and really enjoying.
Oh and for watching the amazingly 80s Miami Vice series on Prime Video.
I tried Luna a few times over the past few evenings via the app on my LG TV, as a thing included with my existing Prime subscription it's okay but I can't imagine using it to play any full games. I gave Indiana Jones a go, lots of input lag and image quality was poor; it's a 1080p 60fps stream but the bitrate just isn't good enough for a game like this.
Also tried indie game South of the Circle, image quality was far less of an issue here thanks to the art style but even for a slow-paced game, the input lag was still noticeable at times. Finally, I tried the Tomb Raider 1-3 collection, again input lag was somewhat noticeable but overall image quality looked decent thanks to the simpler visuals.
You can link your Epic and GOG accounts to access a few additional games from those libraries, but at the moment it doesn't add many.
