If you have a shallow case it’s fine. However my case is very deep so I got a kolink stand from ocuk.Hmm I'll have a look around and see what's decent.
Spent too much just to skimp on such a small part.

Thanks for the suggestion, it's a fractal north xl so best get looking. If you have a shallow case it’s fine. However my case is very deep so I got a kolink stand from ocuk.
Its very big so check your case. The cooling is very good I’ve never seen the GPU go over 75c Build quality is comparable to sapphire which I was quite surprised about. Light sttrip can be controlled if you don’t like rainbows. I love the software it can take a while to get used to. My only regret is not getting the white one. Thanks for the suggestion, it's a fractal north xl so best get looking.
What's the xfx gaming oc card like, I know it's top tier but it's been a long time since buying a decent card.
My case is a fractal north xl so plenty of space, I wanted it for the performance and rgb to brighten things up a bit, that and regular 8 pin connectors as we've all heard the horror stories about that 12vhpwr cable melting. Its very big so check your case. I am fully expecting that someone more knowledgable to do some correcting of me on this comment and probably rightly soMy case is a fractal north xl so plenty of space, I wanted it for the performance and rgb to brighten things up a bit, that and regular 8 pin connectors as we've all heard the horror stories about that 12vhpwr cable melting.
I've heard that overclocking is a bit meh, so undervolting is where it's at?
I bought a laoral mirror stand in the end, as ocuk free shipping only applies to orders over £20
yeah and you put it a lot clearer than me and in like 2 sentences lol yeah i need lessons on how to form sentences properly but yeah basically similar basic theoryYeah I get what you're saying, so it's pretty much like my Ryzen x3d just undervolt and let the hardware/software boost for when it's needed.
Pretty straightforward then.

Overclocking is an interesting one as it’s a bit of a silicon lottery. It’s also game dependent. If you put the power target on max you can pull 360 watts no problem, but the performance on mine drops off a cliff after about 310 watts. Clearly the fans at full pelt is not great. So for borderlands 4 I’ve have settled on. -50 under volt. -15 power target. Ram 2800 overclock with fast timings. This means the GPU runs at approx 3100mhz /300watts. This works for me your card might be different there is a bit of experimenting involved. Just remember benchmark stable is not game stable. We are a friendly bunch here if you have any problems shout. My case is a fractal north xl so plenty of space, I wanted it for the performance and rgb to brighten things up a bit, that and regular 8 pin connectors as we've all heard the horror stories about that 12vhpwr cable melting.

Yeah I get what you mean, boost is 3100mhz so I'll probably undervolt and leave it there just to keep it happy for the sake of a couple fps.Overclocking is an interesting one as it’s a bit of a silicon lottery. If You have unlimited space:Since I'm gaming on GNU/Linux, my next upgrade will be to red/red - CPU and GPU.
This GPU taking my eye, for improved streaming and others.
AMD cards play nicer on Linux due to more foss drivers.
Looking at Sapphire Nitro+ RX 9070 XT.
For 1444p, upgrading from 1080p, would this be the card that is ideal?
Yeah, wasn't thinking about that - go for the 8pin power options. If You have unlimited space:
last week Sapphire 9070XT Pulse ( triple fan and 2x 8pin power supply) was available for 555 GBP and In my opinion was a best bargain. I got for years Sapphire cards and was happy to use them, no issue, and Pulse got good performance/value score. Nitro have higher power limit and 3x 8pin connections, I would choose Pulse with 2x 8pin and the difference in performance is really small. Wait till black friday and pick up , Sapphire Pulse (2x 8pin), Powercolor Hellhound (2x 8pin) or ASUS TUF (3x8pin). From my perspective the highest chance to not have a coilwhine will be to buy Sapphire. But the risk is always some. In Powercolor cards You will have it. It will almost gone when You will limit FPS for example to 120 like I got.
I will pick up best deal soon on Black Friday.

Heard that Sapphire well known for their AMD products.
Looking like all white build now, fancy some rgb now
The sapphire nitro uses a 12VHPWR connector, not 3x 8 pin cables. If You have unlimited space:
