I feel much more promising on Wirtz after today and Chelsea, although I still don't think he was the ideal signing. Isak I didn't get at the time and still don't.

The only player that has been on form for Liverpool is Ekitke and he has been "forced" to the bench because they bought someone for £130mil.
Salah with the new players and system forces him to play different and not getting the best out of him and I think he is passed it a little as well, he started declining in the last 10 games of last season. Losing TAA on that side who he has a great partnership with doesn't help.
Kerkez is not the same player from Bournemouth, he doesn't take any shots now.

Can't wait for Talksh*** and SkySports tomorrow. All the talk will be the real test will be next week for Amorim and Utd, can they do it on a cold Saturday afternoon against Brighton etc.

Not really how it happened though was it. Palace were only letting Guehi go if they got their man to replace him.
I think things will balance out, and we'll be fine and get top 4. Last season was a bit of a freak season - deserved title, but absolutely everything went right and this year was always going to be a bit of correction, and even more so with all the changes to the squad. We need to go back to basics though, pick the best players in the best positions, and just let them go out and do their jobs

I agree completely, TAA just completely changes the way they can attack and opens doors.
I concur with everything else as well really. Isak is a better player but just needs match fitness, you could say he should have been left due to it being Utd though. Got to start him having a run of games someplace though.

Nah, they don’t have the balance. They will still be a very good team but not truly elite. They’ve bought too many individuals.

True, but if we'd gone in for him properly early doors rather than focusing on the Isak saga, they'd have had far more time to sort a replacement

We built our system and build up play around him, something Liverpool won’t do(rightly so). He’s not even half the player he was at Newcastle and I’m convinced he won’t ever look like his did at Newcastle, I think he would have been better suited to arsenal’s system than Liverpool’s.
If they had over offered on the fee palace wouldn't of been able to say no

and what does that have to do with Isak? They still had the money available even after buying him.
