how about put plain ugly chocolate on the bottom and a pretty picture of something like the union jack on the biscuit side, then people might see that as the correct way up.....

Milk chocolate one side and dark chocolate the other side!

They did this with some recent cookies they launched too, "chocolately chips" instead of chocolate chips. McVities quality has dropped significantly over the years anyway, Penguins started tasting naff to me a while back and chocolate digestives taste really cheap now too, despite being more expensive.

But it's helping them reach record sales and revenue figures so that's okay:

This is what annoys the **** out of me though, people moan about everything, not just at food, X is too expensive, Y uses to be so much cheaper.

There is only one option that will solve it, stop paying.

Barring maybe your electric, water, which you kinda need, basic food is still cheap enough.

We have been living in an era where luxury stuff was easily available and a lot cheaper, guess what, country is ****** and that isn't the case anymore.

If you want fancy stuff, you're going to have to pay for it, or don't.

Moaning will achieve absolutely **** all, these companies don't care about anything apart from your money.

Moaning stops you having a heart attack.

Also ironic that a lot of people will be investing the rest of their money in to S&S ISA etc and a lot of those companies are the exact companies that are "ripping us off" but they still want their own profit and dividends paid out.

Revenue is one thing, but almost irrelevant in isolation. It’s the relationship between revenue and profit is the key one.

They made a 15% profit margin, that’s fairly healthy for food but not unreasonable.

Revenue went up 17% but profits only rose by 11%, that indicates the cost base has materially risen. Normally you’d expect margins to rise with increased sales, not decrease.

At the end of the day, if customers buy it, they’ll keep making it.

Did you completely cover it in Ferrero Rocher's or something ? :)

We made the chocolate fudge cake on the starting credits of British bake off. The Paul Hollywood one. Two tubs of raspberries and about 4 packs of high cocoa chocolate among other things. Was well nice to be fair.

So the recipe didn't confuse you between cocoa and cocaine after all?
