Google Pixel 10 Series (10/10 Pro/10 Pro XL/10 Pro Fold & Pixel Watch 4)

I was close to trying a Pixel 10, but went with a base iPhone 17. Not won over yet by iOS 26, but the hardware is very nice.

So is anyone actually rocking a 10 Pro Fold? Wouldn't mind an OCUK writeup if so... I know I'm loving the standard 10 Pro, but a mate popped in earlier with their 9 Pro Fold... I'm really getting a hankering for for the 10 version, more so since they'll give me 245 quid for an ancient 3a (as well as NHS discount)!

Anyone having issues with notification sounds on the 10 Pro XL?

I've noticed that my phone isn't making any notification sounds. Also, when going into the sound settings to select a new tone, it doesn't make a noise in there either. (Ringtone works OK)

Reboot not sort it?

Not all going through your watch is it? (If you have one)
You cracked it! Was a setting within the watch app to disable notifications when the watch was worn. Said watch was on charge in a different postcode, so that setting doesn't work very well! Not sure what even toggled it, perhaps a default setting after an update.

I noticed I have referral codes for the Pixel phone range. Not sure if I'm allowed to offer them so won't actually post them until I read the rules again. Gives 15% off for the buyer on the Google store

Was going to pull the trigger on the Pixel 10 Pro, upgrading from my Pixel 8 Pro, but I have a lot of doubts. Seems like there isn't much of an advancement or that I'd notice much difference.

The alternatives are a bit iffy too though, e.g. S25 Ultra, but that apparently doesn't have a great camera. Might have to just wait a bit.

I wouldn't worry, people have been wearing watches with glass screens for many years and rarely break them, not really like a phone that you're liable to drop.

Is the watch screen material different to previous generations? My wife and I have scratches on our 1st gen Pixel watches. I think they're easier to scratch than phones, especially if you do manual labour/DIY.

I had the same reservation after testing. Sent it back stayed with the p8p. The update was far too stale for the money they're charging.

I'm on my new pixel 10 pro XL. , first full day.
Coming from a Pro 7 that was suffering from battery degradation and some very odd camera problems switching between lenses and focus issues.

1st impressions. An absolute nothing burger of an upgrade. It feels like nothing has changed in 3 years of innovation.
Google's software is just "good" and I guess that's why we stick with them ?

Now I've got 256gb a new slightly bigger battery that hopefully goes longer than 4h screen on and hopefully a better camera setup when I get around to it.

I paid 8200 SEK as opposed to a 15000 SEK retail price. 8200/12.6 =£650

For me I don't think 8000 is really worth it let alone 15k, a battery change would have probably lasted me another 2 years.

Oh I nearly forgot this also includes a pixel 4 watch that I have to send off for.
They retail for 4000 SEK, I honestly doubt I'll use it but that all combined makes it all a bit of a huge bargain really....

650 is a great price with the watch. It's a boring upgrade but a solid one given your cost.
