Trading the stockmarket (NO Referrals)

Just bought into Beyond Meat BYND in a small quantity at $7.08.

Price leap was caused by a Walmart distribution deal announcement. I know being vegan has gained a lot of popularity so I like the sector. The stock seems very meme-able.

Why take a loss?

I don't want to. I could wait it out, but that's almost all my experiment money tied up in it. I did read some reports that analysts think the stock is worth $3, not the current 5+.

I was thinking of day trading GoPro today instead (also a risky play).

If you are day trading and experimenting, if you are now worried and think you have to take a loss, then you put too much in to begin with.

My opinion ... share price over the year good, looking at max timeframe, share price through low and starting to pickup again.

I have MVST, I'm holding. Good sector prospects.

If you're trying to day trade and in the space of a few days things have moved such that you're talking about selling if it goes any lower.....you really shouldn't be day trading.
