How to barrier area off from baby

Anyone got any ideas? Looking to put a barrier up to prevent my daughter from having access to a bookcase.

Folding gates or folding playpens would be your best bet.

Or just make up a board that you can clip to the front of the bookcase? That way you don't lose the space around the bookcase, she can't access the books (or climb it) etc.

I was going to say electric fence, less permanent scarring.

More seriously make sure it's anchored to the wall and then one of the options from above

Depends how long the gap is.

I used one of these https://www.babydan.com/products/playing/playpens/babydan-flex-park-a-kid-white-1 with a panel removed to prevent access to the TV and cabinets etc.
