Honestly weapon nerfs are so dumb if your a high level player you should just have god level weapons on all classes this rebalance effort is just a waste of time it adds nothing & really annoys the playerbase....weapons & perks you spent years honing now amount to all deal the same DMG more or less!

Look at adding RTX FX - something many would enjoy!
Look at removing all the restrictions - something many would enjoy!

Stop nerfing things FFS :rolleyes:
 
Added explosive as the 2* to my flamey bow. Brings back the area damage a bit, but also makes it more likely that I'm going to blow myself up... Might have to try the new Hat Trick perk to bounce the arrow around a bit. Apparently if you have explosive it causes more booms. Iiiiiiinteresting....
 
Melee weapons are now insane!! Until they realise the buffs they unleashed :rolleyes: getting 1300-1400 DMG from a 3* Bloodied Grognaks Axe :eek:
 
I'm not sure my old bloodied handmade build is cutting it now. I've never liked power armour, does anyone have a recommendation for a fun ranged build?
 
Compound bows have received a big boost. Without using 2* explosive, my instigating bow with flaming arrow will do 3k weak point damage, without using a crit. Haven't even put the bow perk cards on yet either. :eek:

Plus with the new hat trick perk it bounces around a bit too causing chaos. And yes, if you the 2* explosive each bounce causes a boom. :D
Also tried poisoned arrows, seem to have a longer lasting effect than flaming, so may do more damage overall bit it may take a while.

It's not a run and gun build, more of a sneaky sniper role. Plus arrows are cheap to build and one shotting a lot of things means you build up a stockpile very quickly.

I haven't tested it yet, but there used to be an issue where using the bow in 3rd person made it faster to fire than 1st person. It may have been fixed in the last update or two.

[edit] My dog brought me an item, I scrapped it and I finally unlocked Instigating as a crafting item! Only another 20 or so to learn now I think...

I think that Bethesda are fed up with people complaining about the lack of glowing Fasnacht masks dropping during the Fasnacht event.

Glowing Fasnacht masks will now drop this weekend as rewards for doing Invaders from Beyond. :eek:

Oh yeah. They're dropping. Got Glowing Abe and Glowing Corn Cob. 2 of the uglier ones.. But they're dropping. They're not event rewards, you do need to take it from General Zeta's corpse. :D

So the mutated events didn't trigger as they should have done this week.

Just about to hit SCORE Rank 100 for me this time around. There's sod all of interest in the rewards though.

Now... coming December in line with Fallout Season 2 on Amazon Prime, we're getting Ohio and the Ghoul.

Burning Springs looks pretty weak should visually be more like a new Vegas desert type landscape instead looks like every other generic existing 76 region :rolleyes:

Mutated events rewards not dropping is being fixed on Friday they are going to do a double XP weekend (fri to mon when the challenges roll) to make up for it apparently with a different challenge replacing the mutated rewards one which never dropped.

Much more indepth look at Burning Springs here looks massive overall & some proper Fallout 3 + 4 vibes to it! They also mention a proper next gen update is coming sometime after also for next gen platforms (Ray Tracing presumably).

Another new mini season with new spooky rewards based around Halloween is starting anytime soon as the servers have been stuck on maintenance mode since 3PM UK Time :(
 
I've gone on my traditional Spoopy Scorched eradication plan. I will wipe them from the face of the wasteland!

2nd day and already at 113 144. :D My route is slightly different from last time, adds more locations. Can do a run through on a private server in about 30 minutes and on it seems I can get around 30 spoopy buggers each time.

There is a down side. I already have the music going through my head. :mad:

Also it seems my luck is as good as ever. 144 legendaries from the scorched and another 30 or so from other legendary enemies all scrapped for a grand total of.... No mods dropped and no new mods learnt. Yay... :(

Got all the mini game rewards for this week in about 2 hours late tuesday night LOL just farmed 2 specific locations kept server hopping did not take long at all! Got quite a few of the new rare plans from the spooky bags also ;)

Its a nice little free addition really keeps you playing also next few weeks as you have to logon for at least 5 out of 7 days to earn those rewards or risk FOMO :p

The short term events are great. Wish they happened a bit more regularly. After this one, I think the next one is the Festive Scorched. They need to die even worse than these ones. ;)

The new rewards are kinda unspectacular, but I did upgrade my normal Halloween costume of the Skeleton costume to the glowing skeleton costume. It's bright. Only a couple of things that I haven't got yet. No change there tbh. Multiple duplicates of everthing else. Will end up sticking them in my store for cheap at some point.

Although, I have seen someone using a Quad The Dragon wearing the Redcoat costume. :D Nice touch.

The trick and treating and hunting in costume only gives extra tickets for the scoreboard, but it's always nice to have more things from the Rank 150 page. ;)
 
September 10th was the last time I played, stopped my FO1st and started No mans sky, getting a bit bored with that now so bought sons of the forest, I'll be back at some point but I just don't have the time just now.

Sounds like you guys are having good fun though, those events did my nut in.....I can hear the music now gaaaaaaaah.
 
Got the Nuka Boy backpack earlier as well as the power armour & combat armour halloween paints :D

Got a spare plan for this for sale also for 30,000 caps in my vendor!

Those glowing skeleton costumes I already had they were originally part of nuclear winter way back when that was still part of the game before they retired it!
