My sister in law came over earlier today with the kids and it seems that unknowingly my niece was spraying a bunch of perfumes we had in our bathroom cabinet... in one of the bedrooms
Suddenly walked into the room and it smelt like I just walked into Boots. It's that overwhelming I started getting a headache.
It's been a good 5 or 6 hours since that and the room still smells quite strongly of perfume. Had the windows wide open for about half an hour, which inevitably turned the room into an arctic freezer. Even had a fan on just to waft out the smell.
The Mrs sprayed some Febreeze fabric freshener thing on the carpet, as we could actually smell the perfume was lingering on the carpet. I can't tell if the Febreeze is working or if we've made it worse by using that...
Any ideas on how to get rid of this smell? Or is it just a case of waiting it out until tomorrow? Thankfully I'm not sleeping in this room tonight.
