Prince Andrew is out!

The queens son "fought" in the folklands war. Right.....
Prince Andrew served as a helicopter pilot in the Royal Navy during the Falklands War, flying missions aboard the HMS Invincible. His duties included anti-submarine warfare, anti-surface warfare, search and rescue, and casualty evacuation. He also flew missions that involved using his helicopter to draw attention away from warships to deter incoming missiles.

They all wear those medals, and mostly for honorary positions they have done nothing to earn. Its as I said, they are born into this. Hereditary systems sucks.

Speaker can't give time for a debate on him because of 'convention' saying it's up to the government and the government are refusing. Royal=untouchable.
Don't forget to doff your cap/bow/curtsy as they pass by...

Not completely true. Had the victim gone further wouldn't she have been able to take him to court? She just preferred the 12m as would I.

not unlike Harry and his 'victory' at the news of the world & Co .... they might have had to gamble with Meghans house if they had proceeded, and lived in a dusty bin.

Until Bill becomes King then it's unlikely much will happen, he'll just vanish back in to obscurity until there's another leaked email or document.

That's a tall order given there's multiple other prominent ex BBC employees who've been caught out as diddlers an/or more general rapists.
How many were there in total that were employed with the BBC?

I couldn't tell you exactly, there were hordes of allegations after the Saville thing came to light against different people and there's been a bunch of convictions over the years.

Tim Westwood a few months back, there was this guy last year: https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/cje9xjywjdwo

Stuart Hall was imprisoned about ten years back, I've no doubt there's a lot more in the woodwork. Seems like an almost yearly thing, I'm aware that the BBC is a big company but it's still highly disturbing to me, especially given the higher ups were apparently aware of a lot of it.

Fair enough with the numbers.
Although hasn't Westwood been employed by Global for the last decade or so, rather than the BBC, and it was Capital fans where it started to unravel for him?
I'm sure i also read Global was getting criticised for not carrying out proper investigates or following through with them.

It didn't all start to really blow up until a couple of years back, but there's numerous allegations regarding sexual misconduct dating all the way back to 2007 while he was still with the BBC. Given he's 68 years old I doubt he's only just started being a degenerate either, god knows how deep that rabbit hole goes.

Kinda makes me sick to think I actually used to listen to him as a kid, I didn't even realise how old he was until a few years back, makes his entire Radio/public persona all the more weird and it was already a bit suspect given his background.

Edit: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tim_Westwood#Sexual_assault_allegations

In October 2025, Westwood was charged with four counts of rape, nine counts of indecent assault, and two counts of sexual assault, relating to alleged offences against seven women between 1983 and 2016. He is due to appear at Westminster Magistrates’ Court on 11 November 2025

Christ, it's worse than I thought.

Yep, word would have quickly filtered down to make sure there was no debate as the powers that be will want this story to disappear as soon as possible. Let's hope it doesn't disappear and that the press stays on it and forces something to happen.

None of this matters, they can do all the pointless little ceremonial slapped wrists all they want but ultimately so long as Andrew continues to have the pronoun 'Prince' it will continue to be blasted into the frontpages forever and the entire institution is brought down with him. If they start having 'discussions' with the government or in private with the papers (not sure it really matters most of it is online now) to suppress the stories then it will be at risk of being found out.

I imagine the King must despise living in this civilised time.

What it needs is for King Charles to be overheard by some medieval knights saying "Who will rid me of this hazardous Duke?!", as per Henry II, and let nature take its course.

The King of Orange will ride into save his Epstein kindred on his Arabian blanket* perhaps?

Had to watch the BBC interview again. Absolutely amazing.
'I took the children to Pizza Hut in Woking.'

You couldn't make it up.
