Happy with the win against Brighton, probably the best we've played all season for the first 60 minutes. I'm still baffled by Amorim's substitutions, they had a major part to play in it being squeaky bum time after Welbeck's free kick.
On one hand I get he needs to manage the squad for game time and injuries but I felt 60 minutes was too early. Concerningly, it does highlight the lack of squad depth.

It's like Slot has forgotten his "pass them to death" mantra. Just get on the ball, keep the ball. We have good enough players up front to make something happen, we just need to stop forcing it.

It isn't a dubious decision at all, Referee has called the foul and VAR have correctly told him it was on the line and therefore it's a penalty
Loved the tweaks he did in first season that got us the title. Genuine surprise but he did everything so well.
I’m worried now however, I’m not seeing him looking like he knows how to change this in games to get control etc
I’m not convinced he has an idea of who to play where, he insists on the players out of form
I’m not liking the post interviews with the well they played this way it’s irrelevant as we should be able to find a way around it, it can’t be the excuse of why we lost.

There's a large extent to which this feels like the season everyone expected last year. Big changes both on the pitch and in management and flaky form as a result. Ultimately Slot needs to get a run together and finish top 4, or he's got real problems
