Your whinging that the pen was given, var correctly told the ref it was on the line so it’s a pen. those fouls are generally given every game all over the pitch, granted they aren’t normally given when in the box, which tend to have a higher threshold of a foul. Liverpool just got unlucky for once.
 
Even Hugo has barely had a sniff tonight and he has been our best player so far this season.

Salah certainly worst in first half had least touches of our front three.

Tonight I’d say however all pretty much as bad as each other

He's still made stuff happen. Got across their defender which helped with our goal even if he didn't touch it, and was at the heart of one of our other first half chances.

I was surprised that Gakpo came off rather than Salah - scored in his last three, been relatively creative this evening, and gets hooked.

Struggling to understand Slot at the moment

Yeah Hugo has been best of front three which has been case all season so far.

I’m not seeing Slots plan at all atm myself
 
Wtf are they doing? Ekitike has just tackled Chiesa rather than making a run, then given it away. Nobody knows what they're doing, there's no structure, too many changes and no apparent formation. It's a mess.
 
Not having Trent has made us so much easier to press. With him there, if you pressed us you risked him pinging an 80 yard assist. Now we have Konate and Gomez who wouldn't know an assist if it smacked them in the face, and Robbo and VVD who need to remember how to stay upright let alone play passes.


That's a mental finish. Hopefully it gets him going!
