Or at least stay on BSTSounds like some people just want to move Britain closer to the equator.

India has a half hour time zone but the sunrise and sunset time varies by 2 hours depending if you are east or west.Just propose to change it by 30 mins to settle the dispute. The ones who moan the most are the ones who will get their way. Solomon style innit.

And rename it GMTOr at least stay on BST
i'm not overly attached to GMT tbh. what has it ever done for the worldAnd rename it GMT
In all honesty I'd just be happy if we pick one standard and stick to it rather than mess about.i'm not overly attached to GMT tbh. what has it ever done for the world
Me and the OH had a lovely walk out in the pitch black early last night.Loving these darker evenings.
you don't need the clocks to go back for that at nightMe and the OH had a lovely walk out in the pitch black early last night.
Just a bit of moonlight and stars, beautiful.

Lol true.you don't need the clocks to go back for that at night![]()

you weird vampires that for some reason enjoy (?!?) this, get in the binI've never understood why the clocks go back about two months before the winter solstice, but don't go forward again until three months after.
If mornings were light enough for BST until the end of October, why aren't they by the end of Feb?
I think we need a fellow Scot to tell us what it's like up there in the winter mornings.
Apart from enabling global navigation and setting the time zones for the entire world, what has GMT ever done for us?i'm not overly attached to GMT tbh. what has it ever done for the world
And just look at the ******* state of the world now. Would never have happened if it was BST.Apart from enabling global navigation and setting the time zones for the entire world, what has GMT ever done for us?

Its really getting on my nerves already, have to walk around with a head torch permanently attached to my head just to be able to see what im doing, even around 3pm its so horribly dark - and im just miserable all the time after dinner time now, it goes so dull, then dark, then pitch black at silly early hours.
2 months of misery and then at least I can feel good about it get lighter minute by minute again.
