Seemingly need a decent set of powerline adapters, WiFi in the new place is utter dross.

I was holding out for a Xbox Rog Ally X, might be tempted to drop on a laptop instead

Over here I think PC wise hoping to grab a deal on;
- 2TB NVME SSD
- new Razer deathadder mouse as my current one is about 9 years old and showing it :D

If your budget will stretch to it, see if you can get a decent mesh wifi set. I used powerline adapters for years, and they're only any good if you have decent electrics in the house. Otherwise they're flaky as hell and a massive headache.

I agree with this, I used Devolo power line adapters in three different properties - including a new build, and they were never stable enough. You'll lose throughput randomly until you switched the adapter off and on again.

My tp links have been flawless. In 2 houses.

RAM! 2x32GB 6000MT/s thanks.
The recent price history is depressing.

<edit> - apparently part picker isn't allowed...

Ive got the EE PPro WiFI 7 kit and its just fluctuating too much

Was gonna PLA from the router to each area Im wanting agood conenction and whack the WiFi Mesh doodah onto the PLA - reserving the other Ethernet port for me haha

Heat pump tumble dryer is the only possible thing. The tumble dryer we have is 25 years old and no doubt horrendously inefficient.

I had issues with TP link powerline adapters dropping out all the time in 2 houses. The joys of anecdotal success / failure I guess.

I have the TP-Link Deco BE65 set of 3, and although a lot more expensive (!) it's an absolutely massive gamechanger. Set & forget, gigabit speeds around the house, no fuss.

Yeah mine have been fine. But this is quite a small house. And there are many variables as you say.

Couple of things
New mouse
little Bluetooth keyboard/ mouse combo to control Steam deck when plugged into TV
Pixel Watch 4
