I have three great nieces, so I thought I make my life easiler and buy them a Blossom, Bubbles and Buttercup plush for Christmas...
Even as a grown up male, I used to watch the cartoon as for some odd reason it was shown at 3am in the morning when I used to get home after a night out.
Anyway; I always thought they was called The Powderpuff Girls, makes sense to me.. as at least two of the girls names are very flowery.
This summer, when we was playing the cartoon network version of fluxx, no one corrected me...
When I texted my nieces and nephew asking them if I should but the plushes for Christmas; no one corrected me...
When I was in the shops asking for them, non of the shops workers corrected me...
Even when I was discussing it with my female friend at work, she was like... "there's four of them now"... and I replied that there will always only be three "Powderpuff" girls..
Is only this evening when I've been trying to google an online store to buy them from, I discovered that they are actually called The Powerpuff Girls!
So were they ever called the Powderpuff girls? or had I been wrong all this time and no one has ever corrected me?
