He actually has looked quite lost in recent weeks, doesnt seem to know what his best 11 is, doesnt seem to know what his best formation is. If it wasnt for those (now looking like lucky) late goals earlier in the season, Liverpool would now be sat in 17th in the league, struggling in the CL and out (by the looks of it) of a domestic cup, with Real and City coming up (dreading the City game, could be a right hammering) things arent going to get better any time soon. Someone is going to have to pull Slot into a room and ask him "So Arne, whats the plan here", just to get some idea of the thinking.

The only real surprise is that we done ok until the first goal. I'm not sure a manager ever picks a side to lose but this selection was pretty much as close as you could get.

While this is clearly true, it's also completely understandable that people will moan after recent results.

He was in a no win position today though. Put out a stronger side, risking more injuries with our upcoming games or lose another game, regardless how unimportant, and create more headlines.
