This is the best breakdown video of its activity.

If we don't detect it around Dec 190th then something is wrong and people might want to start wondering, otherwise standard comet behaviour just different this time as it is an object from outside of our solar system and we have no past samples observed the same way to compare against.

It's position in Jan vs our solar system planet alignments is very interesting though.

Given his subscriber count, he’s definitely mastered the art of click bait for making money, I’ll give him that.

It’s just a very fast interstellar comet, nothing is going to happen.

Edit: he also has the hashtag #astrology in his YouTube overview, which tells you all you need to know.

I don't really care about the previous videos, hashtags used or anything beyond just the video posted as it uses the sourced page (3d solar system model and trajectory) at its base which is all that anyone should be focused on as it visually represents the calculated path of Atlas and that if it does not follow that path then quite obviously something is wrong.

Any reason to think it WON’T follow the path calculated by all the experts in the field who actually understand all this stuff rather than some conspiracy YouTuber trying to make money by making stuff up?

Well since it's a novel comet and appears to be markedly different from others due to it's interstellar origins, and also due to the fact we've only recently been able to detect such objects we know very little about them, I would suppose it could start outgassing in an unexpected manner as it passes behind the sun thus altering its trajectory in an unexpected way. It least its a possibility.

Probably not an alien probe though.

Whilst potentially true, a quick check of the predicted path here:

3I/ATLAS - Wikipedia

Shows that it isn’t going to pass ‘behind the Sun’ as such - it’s going barely closer than twice the Earth-Sun distance and nothing is likely to change this in any appreciable way.

The most ironic thing about 3I/Atlas is that the people claiming it's "Aliens" and self powered, and how it's mocking planets and the sun with its behaviour are the same ones who would laugh at people claiming to be the Messiah, or the immediacy of the second coming. Not least, failing to spot that advanced alien civilizations think disguising themselves as a comet, the most tracked spaced anomaly, would in someway surprise us.

The light flashing pattern is definitely aircraft-like, through beacon and nav lights. Not sure about the sparks unless it was having a compressor stall. Where is he roughly?

Could it just be artifacts from the light? If you watch it back the trail seems to just disappear instantly in stages.

But then again I’m trying to view it on a phone, so might be clearer on my PC
