——The Official Battlefield 6 Thread——

Older incarnations of the Frostbite engine had some weird sound related issues leading to crashes, I don't think it is still a thing but I dunno a quick search shows a few reports of similar happening but Dice supposedly solved it after 4.

What CPU are you using? a less documented but verified symptoms of the Intel 13th/14th gen degradation issue is sound issues leading to crashes.
im on a 7800x3d :)

What an experience today and not in a good way, What is it with a large majority of people on Conquest only playing as Snipers and not really going for any captures?..i think they should limit how many snipers each side can have really.

Also, The Anti-Air Vehicles feel so bloody useless in this Battlefield, They either cannot get a lock on when i feel they REALLY should be able to at that range, But if they do. The Planes and choppers flares are already reloaded making them extremely hard to take down.

Where is the best place to see people giving feedback on the game so far? Discord? i wouldn't know as i don't have access to my discord atm.

When the hitreg/netcode works it's great!

But it's getting worse and worse every night to the point it's just not fun to play anymore.

In fact putting that aside, two of the rounds people were glitching high up on roofs and using the sledgehammer on drones shouting "EASY" when they won.

Yes it is easy when you're glitching, tards

It really is! Its incredibly frustrating, I spend a lot of time server hopping until I find one that is good, probably about half as much time as I spend playing.

Played my first few rounds of Redsec. I'm not a BR kind of guy but my mate wanted to try it so I conceded. Its not terrible... I actually enjoyed what I played with it. We didnt do well, didnt come last though. Its not something I will spend a lot of time on but it was fun for what it was.

dang was thinking my crashing issues were over but it just crashed again, at least no wierd stuff like before was just a instant crash to desktop with no warning or error.

im liking the tr-7 assault rifle, the clip is small but the scope works good on it and kills people in a few hits :)

I wish the game was a bit more tactical.

Either same number of players but bigger maps so that things are slower pace or same size maps but less players.

It can be a bit too crazy at times to enjoy.

You spawn and all you see is 5 lights glinting at you...

This is why I like maps such as siege of Cairo because at least you have buildings for cover.

Oh and today was the first time I experienced the poor hit registration.

Somehow it would be amazing if they could make it a bit more tactical.

Maybe only give xp for playing objectives, helping team mates etc. Kills give no xp.

Maybe that would force people to play the game properly.

yeh fully agree with this, wish they would let us just do 32 player on the 64 maps :)

Finally decided to play Strikepoint, so I'm not that bad a player as I think I am, when I actually have half a chance to hear and react to enemies.

Cruising on this mode vs any of the others :D

Maybe it also helps that I'm not playing it at peak times like now ;) so inferior players are lurking in Europe at this hour.

been trying strike point my self and its more interesting than the usual game modes, only had one normal crash between all the game modes all night long, i think the 3 fixed files has sorted it :)

i ended up disabling voice chat though the other night there was only so much i could stand from getting distracted by some random french or german guy shouting down his mic constantly along with loud mouth breathers and coughing in it and hearing them type or some other nonsense and stuff in the back ground.......... god that french guy made me mute all voice chat it was constant, and i had no idea what he was saying, kept losing my focus and shouting shut the eff up in my mind, was like yay im tracking 3 enemies gonna sneak up on them and then that ****** voice screwed up my train of thought lol

was like hit escape options disable voice :p

Is it just me, or have games become even more unbalanced as time has gone on? seems like its a complete steamroll for the wining team all the time now.

I haven't enjoyed a BR since early Apex Legends, but I must admit I don't mind REDSEC, verging on enjoying it.

It helps I managed to get a quad kill with the recon drone dropped grenade, much to the hilarity of Discord  .

It's a bit of a mixed bag from my experience.
Yes there are a lot of games where it's a steamroll one way or another, some times it's a complete reversal turning a 500pt deficit around, others are a balanced grind to the end. There are more steamrolls than I'd like to see. However it's an age old problem I havnt seen any developer effectively solve in my decades of gaming.

I'd like to see some QoL updates to the custom search. Option to exclude already started games. Option to search for closed weapon only.
