Google Pixel 10 Series (10/10 Pro/10 Pro XL/10 Pro Fold & Pixel Watch 4)

Anyone having issues playing music on the watch 4? When I press play, it wants me to connect Bluetooth speaker - no option to play though watch.

Having held off buying a Pixel 10 Pro XL at launch I've just obtained one .

Have always flipped between Samsung s2xU phones and Pixels but didn't see the jump this year from p9 pro XL.

Started using my Pixel more again as my s25U ultra had certain things that were starting to annoy me , camera still has the same problems it always does i.e..motion blur plus the shape, whilst they rounded it's still not as comfortable. On my P9Pro XL I was running low on storage so wanted to get at least 512gb. Picked up a brand new sealed p10xl 1tb for £980 which was a good buy from ebay. I would never pay £1549 for it though, that's insane.

Liking the small improvements , whilst not worth the upgrade by itself the better speakers, improved battery and CPU definitely make for a nicer round experience plus faster charging speeds

Was also looking at the OnePlus 15 but there will be niggles there also probably around software .

For now I'm happy with this and will be selling the P9Pro XL and s25U ultra as this seems to meet all my needs.

How do you find the display compared to the gs 25 ultra.

Due an upgrade from gs 23+ and deciding if to go pixel 10 pro xl or gs 25 ultra or wait for the gs 26 ultra....

You don't get the anti glare feature which is really nice but the no one else has that. The Pixel 10 XL screen is very nice to my eyes at least and has good colour reproduction, I haven't used for my S25 Ultra for a week and don't get the urge to go back to it.

The Pixel is ergonomically better at least for my hands and pockets, I spend a lot of time outside walking etc so this is important to me. They've improved the speakers in the 10Xl which was a gripe, charging speeds is on par now with the s25 ultra and the battery last slightly longer in real world and the camera is consistent when taking photos of my kids. I think they fixed all the little niggles I had with the Pixel 9 Pro XL which was close to the perfect phone for me apart from charging speeds, speakers and the storage I opted for in mine etc.

Basically, I love to tinker but for me the Pixel is the iPhone of Android, it work wells and they keep adding new software features. The s25U is more configurable but you don't really need it plus having two app stores and Samsungs bits is a little annoying (Not a deal breaker). I swapped out all the Samsung Apps for the Google defaults i.e. Phone, messages, keyboard etc

I've got to the point where I just want a phone that does everything I need well, the Pixel is it for me.

The OnePlus 15 looks very interesting but it's the same as the Samsung, amazing specs but what is the software like. Just to add, I would never pay list price for my 10 Pro Xl, the price I got was a "bargin" compared to retail price

GSM Arena have retested the battery life on the 10 and the 10 Pro due to an issue with their testing software previously.
I must say, I've been using mine for 6 days and I'm really happy with battery performance , I don't game and typically have mixed use each day i.e. work emails, calls, slack, YouTube, music etc .

It's better battery life then my s25U ultra and my Pixel 9 pro XL

30MB, downloading now on my 10PXL..

It's what put me off it altogether tbh. But seeing other people's real life stats, it's made me think again.

Then again, the S23 still seems to be holding up well

I'm considering the Pixel 10 Pro XL over the S25U. I've read that the cellular on the Pixel range is weak, has anyone had issues in this area? I would like the iPhone experience in the Pixel, quick updates, new features etc. I read online that there's a November update with some new features?

I just sold my S25U and was running a Pixel 9 pro XL before selling and buying a 10 Pro XL from eBay new and sealed for a great price .

The S25 has slightly better WiFI over the 10XL but mobile seems the same to me, I'm in an area where we only get 1/2 bars 5g. Both appear to perform the same to me.

Ive had mine a 10proXL a couple of weeks now.
Coming from a pixel 7 Pro.

The screen is nicer, I'm not sure if its brightness or what its just nicer

Software... I honestly wouldn't know the difference yet. I've barely used the camera but it's purely AI enhancement on the long zoom shots which is initially jaw dropping but a bit too far? It does make mistakes.

The internal speakers are twice as loud which is nice for listening while doing housework etc, but I usually cast to a Google device anyway. Still it's better...

Battery is good, bit it's a new battery it's not rocket science.

The in screen fingerprint scanner is more sensitive and sometimes it's double reading, that's what it feels like.

It's a nice weight.... Lol I'm really clutching at straws.
I'd only buy it for a discount full price is a joke.

Thank you. What are your thoughts on the 10PXL over the S25U?

TBH they are all much for much these days, have used both Samsungs s2* Ultra models and Pixels over the last 5 or so years they are both decent phones.

The only reason I ended up with the 10 Pro Xl is I saw a few good sealed ones on eBay for £980 for the 1tb (£1549 RRP on google), I like my 9 Pro XL and was more comfortable in the hand then the S25 Ultra, I never used the S Pen, the cameras were more consistent on the Pixel especially in mixed conditions and with moving subjects.

For me the 10 Pro XL has ironed out the things missing on the Pixel 9 Pro XL, these are better speakers, slightly improved charging and battery and small little touches but it takes it to where it needs to be. Also Google are good at providing new features in software, Samsungs not so much especially when it comes to improving the camera.

I've also gotten bored of the phone swaps so I picked a device I would be happy to live with as the money they all lose now is crazy. The only reason I purchased the 10 Pro Xl is I was lacking storage on the 9 Pro xl, combined with the small technical improvements it's a decent phone.

The only really thing Google could improve really is the CPU and bigger battery, for me none of these are an issue as I don't play games and don't live by benchmarks. In real world usage I've seen no issues with the 10 Pro XL and the battery last longer then my S25 Ultra

The newer Chinese phones are better specs but will they properly support them after the first year, that's the question
