He's not a left back, he's been getting done for weeks. The players are letting Howe down but Howes letting the players down by picking the wrong ones

Cheers. The implementation/interpretation of VAR is really spoiling the game for me. As soon as a goal is scored they look to see how far back they can go to cancel it.

Definitely agree the players effort is lacking away from home…
But it was an obvious change Howe didn’t make. We got a get out of jail card with the non penalty and he ignored it.
Something isn’t right in that club at the minute because crap performances are fine every now again but we haven’t won away since April… and we have been pretty poor all season let’s not kid ourselves

I think howe’s weakness is showing though, he has his favourites and sticks with them whether he should or not, burn should have been subbed for hall the second that pen was waved away, Pope has been poor again yet he won’t change, same with Gordon being poor but Barnes only gets a bit part, Howe has got credit in the bank but it’s going to wear thin especially because we’re not even playing well.

Palace vs Brighton certainly lacked quality, I’d say we edged it but neither team really deserved to win. Officials were confusing, I’d like to revisit the Veltman yellow because it looked like he made a clean tackle then the palace player put him in a headlock? lol maybe I missed something.
Brenton probably an upgrade? Tough job though.

We have nothing in attack granted but how he plays is desperately boring. He’s so stubborn and can’t adapt to anything. Limping back to the Championship and we have some horrendous games coming up. Win or bust today.
I’m not suggesting the players aren’t responsible for their poor form, and I’m definitely not one of the ‘Howe Out’ brigade, but this one was on Eddie. Why he didn’t sub Burn off earlier I’ll never know. And we actually looked better after the subs, even with 10 men.

We were much improved second half. From where I was sat, the first looked a penalty and the second looked to be given to even things out. Good three points.

I think a losses against city and Everton will see him come under extreme pressure
