A short walk up Fforddlas from Prestatyn train station gets you to Offa's Dyke Path, follow that roughly south as far as you fancy and you could return to Prestatyn train station via the Prestatyn-Dyserth Way.

Lovely area when the weather is good, like so much of Wales.

I loved Snowdonia as it felt like I was on another planet. It was also a good base to go and visit a million castles, which I never get bored of.

Love a good castle hunt! We've not visited any recently but really need to make an effort next year.
 
St David's is lovely as is most of coastal Pembrokeshire.

Last time we went, we headed a bit further up to Cardigan - found that quite drab and depressing to be honest.
