5080 Super Q2/Q3 pos Dead? Don't think i can wait if true.

Needs to be Nvidia for my work, till AMD support my industry more. its not just for games, if t was it go AMD
Yeah that's fair. I know AMD aren't as great for other applications as of yet.

With regards to OC cards, they tend to not be worth it no, as it's usually just overclocks you can do yourself when you get it. They don't really do chip binning for them or anything.

so I should get the 5070Ti tomorrow :)
When i come to install this what things in the bios should i change, Resizable bar? what else?
using the Gigabyte AMD B550 AORUS B550I PRO AX WiFi mobo.

i have another stupid question. i have a Corsair SF1000L PSU in my system found the 16 pin PCIE (12VHPWR) connector that came with the PSU. it has two 8 pins connected to it. Assumed i'd need two connected as its 300W. probably being super paranoid not to blow up my new toy.

HELP! Installed it, ran DDU in safe mode removed old drivers. Restarted PC and started installing Nvidia drivers. The display was there low res working. It got half way screen went black and hasent to come back on. Is this something I need to set in the bios. As it's black I'll have to restart. Please HELP!

I'm not sure what you mean by this.

Does the cable connect to the PSU modular panel with these 2? In other words, equivalent to a native cable, which Corsair used on their older PSUs.

Or, are you connecting it to the device end of PCIE 8-pins, similar to an extension cable? If you're doing the latter, I thought the 5070Ti usually came with a 3x1 adapter, not a 2x1?

Hmm, going black a bit is normal. Hard to say what went wrong at this point. You could try downloading an earlier version of the driver. If problems persist, maybe reseat the card and check the power connectors. What does GPU-Z look like?

This should really be in a new thread, by the way.

It came with a 2 way adapter . But I am using the one in with the Corsair PSU. Cables are all connected fine. I do seem to recall that people had a similar issue where they had to change a setting in the bios PCI 5 to 4 or something.

Yeah, I suggested that a few posts back, but I think that's also for general instability rather than only a black screen installing drivers.

No harm in trying it though.

It came with a 2 way adapter
Which model was that? Just to check it wasn't used and/or bundled with the wrong adapter.

Might have to take it all apart again. That in a mechious plus a radiator isn't easy lol. I would have thought the cable in the PSU would have been fine though it's not and old PSU. I do get a signal up until the windows login then black.
