Which is the best option between these two?

I’m looking at getting a new gaming PC, and have about £1100 to spend. My last PC was bought 17(!) years ago, also from OC as an overclocked one, but I’ve been out of gaming PCs for so long that I don’t really know what’s what.

I’ve not got a great track record with building my own PC, so thought I’d go for a prebuilt one, and have seen the following two:

Or

I was originally leaning towards the Mach 2, especially when it was £50 cheaper, but with that price rise and now the Black Friday deal on the Pyrite, I’m not sure which is best. I like the better CPU and larger HDD on the Pyrite, but I wonder if the bigger case of the Mach 2 would give better airflow (my old PC used to overheat regularly) and I’ve always had Nvidia cards in the past (though obviously not for a while) so don’t really know how the 9060 XT compares.

I’d appreciate any help/suggestions, or if there’s a better alternative to look at. I’m after playing FPS games mainly, having played mainly CoD and BF in the past, but also some RTS games.

Thanks.

It shouldn't be an issue with either case. Those CPUs and the two graphics cards don't use a lot of power (well, relatively not a lot, compared to high-end ones).

The 5060 Ti is around 10% faster, but it depends on the game and the use of upscaling/ray tracing, so they're more or less safe to consider equivalent.

For the most part, the Mach 2 will be the faster gaming PC, but it'll depend on the game. E.g. CoD loves AMD for whatever reason. RTS games may run a little better on the 7700 if the CPU is used meaningfully.

I’d say of the two, the second would be faster with the equivalent CPU, but the 7500f is much slower than the 7700 and Nvidia’s driver overhead is significant.

I think first system might be the better option OP.
