Yeah, for those that fancy following the instructions on XDA I think some sellers are doing it even cheaper. I very rarely use aliexpress, the site is a nightmare to navigate lol

I don't think it's against the rules as ocuk dont sell phones
Prices seem to change quite a bit (as do the various offers). You only see the lower price once you go through to the checkout and select paypal.
If it's a lot more than £400, wait a few hours and try again. I missed out on the extra £60 paypal offer, so if you have it, add something for £35ish quid like the soundpeat air 5 pro earbuds....makes it an even better deal.

I'd hunt for discount codes and check other sellers maybe. You should be able to get it a bit cheaper.
They will send you a message after purchase asking what price you want them to declare. $175 I think should get past customs.
oh, again depending on offers try switching the site to USD and then checking the paypal checkout screen. Can knock off £10-£20.

Had most of yesterday evening to play with it but couldn't resist AoE2 Definitive Edition - it's so much fun.
Wasn't initially impressed with the battery last night but it was blasting through updates and set up. Left the house on 84% and currently on 62% - GTFO! I think that's with ~2.5 hours SoT. The fingerprint sensor seems very good. Only used the camera very briefly, no issues and it looks at least as good/if not better than my S23U. I still have plenty to discover but happy with my purchase, especially a tad under £550 in 2025.

OP15 battery is amazing. First charge from 10% to 100% took 37 minutes. 48 hours later I'm down to 54%, so on track to last 4 days...

I got my op15 too yesterday and set it up today. Made my pixel 7 pro feel old and slow for the first time! Has anyone got the official case / screen protector - the Aramid case in particular? Had a look on the store and it seems to lack full protection on the sides where the buttons are and the top. Also is the official 120w charger worth the cost? I've read that the op15 only charges at a max rate of around 85w for a brief period. I'm thinking the 80w charger might be better or one of the cheaper ones on the rainforest or the Chinese store (starts with A!). Bit annoyed that I got a bunch of coupons with the Red Cable club membership but I can't use the one for the free case / protector on the op15 ones and the accessories coupon can't be used with anything on sale!
Why would the 80w be better if you already have the 120w ? Also you can't just buy any 3rd party charger , for fastest you need supervooc , OnePlus 15 supports other charging protocols at 55W PPS, 36W PD, 36W QC
I don't have any charger for the phone so that's why I was asking. The max charging speed of the phone may not be much more than what the 80w charger provides. So the 3rd party chargers that don't support supervooc are limited to 55w?
Yeah according to the OnePlus 15 charging spec the other protocols that's the fastest it can go , supervooc is it's own protocol
You can also use oppo chargers they also use supervooc and are available on eBay

Tbh I'd get a good PPS charger that'd be more compatible with everything else. Even at 55W it was only marginally slower than vooc.
Also... You can get a 65W oppo vooc charger for 16 quid off amazon. Official one.
GSMarena saw 77W peak so yes the 80W one will do. How they get a away with saying 120W is ridiculous.

On that advert it says that Android Auto won't work. Is this really the case even with the global rom?

my deliveryu not going so well. bought couple of op15's to replace the op8's for my boys..as they checked reviews, the free watch went out of stock..anyway, long story short, forgot to change our address from last purchase, so after mashing refresh, snagged 1st with free watch and clicked buy and paid.....
so going to old address...even though my card used doesn't match the address (so no point clicking that button, as ignored)...luckily am on good terms with new owners so one of them stayed in Monday for delivery (was royal mail tracked) for 9.30am-1.30pm timeslot...came and went, so delivery....She then had to go out which is fair enough...
then in evening got a ping saying it had been delivered, (delivered at 19.40 when it was 19.10 on my clock...maybe they forgot to turn the clocks back)...anyway checked with owner and no delivery...going back to the delivery, under proof is a photo...have the photo is an out of focus light brown package, and the a pair of legs , and carpet...wow...really doesn't show much
luckily my old house is that, and old house where there's a porch, a step up to the front door and white and black tiles inside so knew instantly they'd delivered it to the wrong address
call to oneplus...1hrs+ wait...they say not their problem, have to call royal mail and get a reference for them...cal to royal mail 1hrs 30 wait...complaint put in...(apparently drop off is linked to gps so they're sending back the guy that delivered to pick it up again...though whether person that took delivery for signed for tracked still has it, who knows(seeing as he wasn't me but gladly took the parcel without saying wrong name/wrong address)...
I have to wait 3 days for them to retrieve min
oneplus also now me to fill out form and also get a police report...
long story, but think been on phone several times now, am down £900(bought charger, case/scren protector on top of phone and free watch, 5hrs of calls, still need to get police report and then fill out forms, and maybe i get my money back?oneplus haven't actually said very much

No, I watched a YT video the other day with instructions on how to get it working on colouros, so I assume global rom is even easier.
It's was very simple anyway. Search AA, install, turn something on in settings.
Gutted. You have a choice to adjust delivery address or drop off location on the RM app...
It'll work that description needs fixing, the description gives information with color os but the main thumbnail says global rom
Global rom on CN version everything works as normal as if you bought it from UK OnePlus you don't have to do anything only no esim with CN version
