I'm intrigued - how does it work?

Was a forum competition years ago. Effectively there would be a theme for each week and you had to submit a beer which related to that theme. Generally alphabet themed, So the first week might have been "Animals" for "A" and therefore you could use Tiger lager, the next week could be "Belgium" for "B". You got points for unique entries and there was an overall leaderboard.
It was excellent fun, although i think the last competition lost its shine due to the increase in craft beers which made it very likely to have mostly unique entries almost every week.

Yeah, I imagine it being much easier now, every brewery here seem to have a new 'special range' each week.
I'd still find it good fun and probably end up trying things I'd never think of normally trying. (Looking at you, chocolate, from the last edition).
how about that we all have to pass a beer bottle around, and each person has to put a shot of beer in the bottle, then post it to the next person, and so on

yer, i kn ow what you mean. maybe we can do it type of beer from a certain place or country, such as stouts from kent. then you might get some of the same ones come up. or we could have bonus points for best named beer or picture on the bottle.

Going a bit further, each letter of the alphabet represents a county in the UK so that's where the beer must come from.
J, Q, U, V, X, Z are not represented but they could be special rounds. (Looked at a list on Wikipedia).
Styles could be the same but a few could be missing especially the last few letters of the alphabet.
New rules (to potentially increase the chances of duplicates).
No collabs allowed (as per untappd description).
At least 10 of your entries must be keg or cask in a pub (I'm sure they will appreciate the custom at the moment).
You can't enter anything from previous competitions.
I could run this again in the new year if enough people are interested. Maybe have it fortnightly instead due to time constraints.
It's 26 beers so that's at least £130 you may have to spend on possibly crap beer.
