The Radeon RX9070XT / RX9070 Owners Thread

your steel nomad score is very low

this is a none XT i had
Hmm, not sure whats going on then, that result of mine was months ago but just did another run and set UV to -75 and its a little better.. Also set power limit to + 10 on this result.

What did you have your UV set at, can you remember?

Alright last run here, not going any further as -125 UV crashed 3DMark lol

Power +10
UV - -120
Memory - 2700 (Fast Timings)

Btw adjusting the frequency slider does nothing.. Ancient Gameplays was right about that.

@WARburton not sure how you got over 7000 score but you must have some tricks up your sleeve that you keep to yourself :)

im thining now the one inthe 70's is when i bios modded the card, i think mid 60's was stock bios.
you can put XT bios onto your card to unlock higher clocks

still you added about 8% to your score, thats good

I still wouldn't ever want anything requiring the 12vhpwr connector anywhere near my build though.

Me either, especially when extension cables can make it look pretty cool anyway :)

I had thought that might have been the case

I'll never play DayZ with those settings, one crash in the wrong place on a map and I'm done, all gear lost and dead as the zombies are smashing me while I'm crashing and my character is still on the server :D

Picked up a used Vastarmor 9070 locally for 3500rmb, was 3579rmb but got a discount for going and picking it up. Every little helps!

Boxed, with all accessories and original sales invoice included for warranty.
Guy had only had it for a couple of weeks, but bought a 5080 instead.

Works out around £375, which is more than I want to pay for GPUs, but seems like a solid price for this card right now. I don't want the troubles of buying a GPU in next year's memorygeddon landscape

Sounds insane... Why TF would anyone buy 9070 (non xt?) only to trade up for a nvidia 5080 so soon?

Rather than just buying a 9070xt in the first instance?

I buy a lot of used hardware here, and there are so many times that the story is like this.
I'm presuming he got a deal he couldn't refuse on the 5080. He buys and sells a lot on the used app, looking at feedback, so didn't feel the need to poke holes in the story. :)

Buying from an app? I mean it's an ok deal on face value but it sounds a bit sketchy...

Card is already installed and working. This app is the biggest second hand app used in China, and I've used it for years. Went to his house to pick it up too. If I was still in the UK buying used, I probably wouldn't go for it, but I find the second hand market far better here.
The buyer is just as responsible for the deals they are a part of. I don't go in for dodgy dealings. :D

That makes a bit more sense now... I did not realise you are from China, and buying in your local market, my apologies.

I guess the second hand market is a bit different from the UK?

There's definitely dodgy hardware on there, but I've found buying locally, from people with solid feedback. And also picking up from the seller myself. Has kept me safe (touch wood).

The performance uplift over the A770 is pretty crazy. Black Myth Wukong runs beautifully at 1440p now. Definitely time to go back to playing it now.

Do we have a 9060 XT owners thread? I can’t seem to find one in the search.

Am wondering if there’s any mileage in an underclock in terms of delivering more performance by running a bit cooler, but it’s already quite a cool and low power card.

now days its a general rule that you just undervolt everything and get more performance. it not always heat but power limit.
when you under volt you use less power giving you more headroom for the GPU to boost before hitting the power limit
