Trading the stockmarket (NO Referrals)

This might be the most important earnings call Of the year? Nvidia?

Only if you're heavily invested in Nvidia and USA tech.

An nvidia crash would have knock on effects as most people have a decent portion in tech investments, but you'd have to be stupid to go 'all in' on tech, and even more stupid to go 'All in' on specific companies.

I mean sure there's an 'Ai' bubble but that's a specific limited investment... Sure invest in that, but you need a more broad approach to your overall portfolio.

You won't see the huge gains but then you're also protected somewhat from the inevitable huge drops.

It will have a lesser impact on snp etc. But it still could be the big domino that starts a proper decline.

To date it's been the very speculative stocks that have taken a hit.

Nvidia is a bit of a proxy for all Tech. And the mag 7 make up so much of vwrp/vuag etc it could start a significant decline.

Best case is some stabilise. Worst case could be bad. (imo)

At least try to get your terminology correct...
Snp?

That's the Scottish national party!

Presumably you refer to the S&P500 which is the top 500 companies in the USA.

You are aware that VAUG is basically S&P500 and VWRP is more a global fund, right?

That's very un-diverse by its very nature.

Which is very different to a global fund... A global fund will also feature most of that because USA tech are doing very well, but also have several thousand fractional shares across the globe.

That's the reason I went with VWRP and VEUA.. As my personal confidence in the USA is pretty low.

Seriously though, markets are always rocky in November and December.. as institutions rebalance portfolios.

But it’s now turn for the doom talk because of the UK budget.

People be getting freaked over a 3% drop and panic after a 10% gain.

You're still 7% up.

That's not a crash... That's just normal market churn.
Its 413x, the most pessimistic dude you'll ever meet man.

Also look at what they are invested in, some of it is 50+% down. Its far different to us in trackers. When we fall 20% they fall 95% on some of those AI/quantum stocks.

Problem with Nvidia is it can go anywhere after earnings, even when it's good :D

Yes. I had a 3x+ on and forgot to to take it off. Because earnings. Calls are too much a lottery.

Good earnings and a bounce. It's pulled the small players and speculatives up.

Wonder if the uplift will last?

Yes. I was invested in some super speculative stocks. But as I was in early it's massively up. I have sold much on way up. And on the way down. Because now quantum stocks have passed their massive gains stages.
